In the spring of 2024, in a small café overlooking a neighborhood soccer field, two friends watched kids playing pickup soccer during their lunch break. As they discussed their shared love of both card games and soccer, an idea sparked: What if we could capture the excitement, strategy, and unpredictability of soccer in a fast-paced card game?

That afternoon, they sketched out the first concepts on napkins—attack cards, defense cards, and the crucial goal mechanism. Over the following months, what started as rough ideas evolved into a sophisticated game that balanced accessibility with strategic depth.

Through countless playtesting sessions with families, hardcore gamers, and soccer fans, Fútbol Dash was refined into the game it is today. The vintage-inspired artwork pays homage to classic soccer imagery from the golden age of the sport, while the streamlined mechanics ensure anyone can learn in minutes.

Launched in early 2026, Fútbol Dash quickly found its audience. From casual family game nights to competitive tournament play, the game resonated with people who loved the beautiful game and wanted to experience it in a new way.

The Design Philosophy

Every element of Fútbol Dash was designed with intention. The card artwork draws inspiration from mid-century soccer illustrations, creating a timeless aesthetic that evokes nostalgia while remaining fresh and vibrant.

The green, red, blue, and orange color scheme wasn't chosen randomly—each color represents a different aspect of the game. Green for forward movement and attack. Red for stopping power and defense. Blue for special moments and game-changing plays. Orange for excitement and surprise.
